Better Gradualy

Last week I have call from one of my colleague in my office, she has new HP-Compaq notebook that window vista home basic included. So she decide to use her window vista home basic for her work activity, but for my office organization all of desktop & notebook that operate is license only for windows XP. I do not have full access to install windows xp for others staff to use for their own notebook or desktop.

Back to the topic, She call me because she always facing same problem for her daily work activity. She always got report and resume all reports from her team and the report to her boss. Files that always did by her in microsoft excel files, but after one month she got her own notebook and I start to install her notebook with microsoft office 2003 my office organization license. Her Microsoft excel 2003 always crash when she got to long to create or modify excel file on her notebook.

Try to help her with resolving the problem that her notebook seem not work well Microsoft excel 2003, I really looking for other people who already handle the same problem that I am going to resolv. hint on search engine with phrase ” Excel crash window vista ” I found good link from microsoft forum. Problem it seem come from bluetooth feature, with addins from bluetooth. Resolving the problem we must open window registry and point to :

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\Excel\Addins

And change the LoadBehavior key from 3 to 0

after change the value to 0. I restart her HP Compaq notebook and let her work her excel again. after 2 hours I ask question to her, Is she still facing the same problem as it was ? she said not anymore.
